Monochromatic Ensembles

What I love about fashion is what I like to call “complex simplicity.” Complex simplicity, to me, means that your ensemble is simple, yet the pieces you choose make up a complex look. This particular look, without the jacket is just a black pant or jean and a black tank.

Pairing the snake skin blazer over the tank and also the black and silver platform pumps makes the ensemble look complex and put together. This look is great for day with minimal accessories and also for night with a great statement necklace.

Zoe Saldana looks amazing in a simple tank and beautifullly crafted skirt. She chose to pair it with the same color shoes and handbag. Even though she chose the same colors, the look doesn't feel, at all, to be matchy matchy.
