The cool weather has arrived so what better way to broaden your wardrobe than to reinvent pieces you already own. It doesn't take long to add appliques or even take away things from certain pieces in your wardrobe. Sewing is an art but learning the basic rules can get you well on your way to a totally "new," wardrobe. For instance, you have a summer top that is sleeveless. You could layer it for the cool weather but you would like to add long sleeves on it.

Simply find the fabric that interests you and find the sleeve pattern that you want. Trace the sleeve according to the pattern. Then pin the sleeve onto the top, right sides together. Then sew the sleeve to the top. Take out your pins and yo have your new long sleeve top!Another thing you can do is to purchase inexpensive tops and add beautiful jewels, gems and studs to it.

Another way to reinvent yourself is to reinvent your attitude about life. Individuals, 23 years old and older, always say, in 5 years I'll be 30! I don't know who said turning 30 was the end of the world. So reinvent your attitude and the way you think about life and what it really means to live. It doesn't matter how old you are, what matters is that you have people around you that are true and that love you for you and not what you can do for them.

People that have a lot of individuals around them surely has an enemy in the bunch. So love life, enjoy just living and take time to look at the sky and at the trees and ask yourself, what's my purpose and why am I here. Life is more than money or status, it's about inspirations and natural beauty and most importantly, love.
