Fall Preview: Alice and Olivia 2011 Fashion Show

The Alice and Olivia brand is for the girly girl. She jumped on the scene featuring some whimsical pieces for every woman with the little girl in them at heart. The fall, she has some amazing pieces in her collection.

My favorite look is the red and black ensemble with the black and white pumps. Mostly featuring dresses in her entire collection, she chose to play with separates in which she did a fabulous job. She also had a flapper feel to many of her pieces as she used ankle length pieces and great furs.

You can easily tell that every one of these models loves what they are wearing. Even the ones sitting are exuding an unexpected confidence because they know they look amazing. 

I say "unexpected," because most shows have their models standing for long periods of time without a sense of how they feel in what they are wearing and without a smile on their face.

The designer Stacy Bednet Eiser, is truly talented and is almost in a category of her own because most designer can't capture a sense of  romanticism through their approach.
