Lady of the Day

Grace Coddington is a former model and the creative director of American Vogue magazine. At 28, she interviewed with British Vogue’s Editor, Beatrix Miller, and was employed as a Junior Editor. After working there for 19 years, Grace moved to New York to work for Calvin Klein. In July 1988, she joined Anna Wintour at American Vogue. Grace came into the public eye in 2009 with the release of the September Issue, a fly-on-the-wall documentary about the making of the September 2007 issue of the magazine.
